Relaxation Hotel Kefalonia, Greece

"We loved every minute of our stay at this beautiful hotel! The location was ideal for a short walk to Fiskardo (free shuttle also on offer) and stroll to a beautiful beach. The hotel, rooms, facilities and pool areas were all extremely clean and great, luxury quality. The breakfast was amazing, and the onsite restaurant was perfect for lunch/snacks/cocktails and dinners. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come again."

"Lovely hotel in a fantastic location with a serene, calm and relaxing vibe. The room was large and nicely decorated with a shared private pool. The main pool area is beautiful with lovely views and the large pool is perfect for a swim. The second pool is excellent for lengths so its great to have the choice. The staff are friendly and always there when needed, never intrusive. The restaurant is great for an evening meal and there was lots of excellent options at breakfast. Shout out to Gia, whose cocktails are out of this world - highly recommended. Its a very short walk to Emplisi Beach, which is completely empty for an early morning swim but does get quite crowded later in the day. You can also swim from the rocks at the hotel, which is lovely. The walk into Fiskardo is just 15 mins (there's a bus from the hotel to bring you to and fro if you don't fancy the walk). I am already planning a return visit."

"Had a fantastic relaxing week at the hotel which I would rate a strong 4.5 star hotel. Views from the main pool and restaurant are superb. Rooms are basic but fine. Every member of staff is very polite and a pleasure to have around. Fiskardo is a 10 mins walk from the hotel down a navigable track. There is also a courtesy bus from the hotel to town and back twice during the day and every hour from 6pm to 11pm. We will definitely be back. A wonderful hotel in one of the prettiest harbour towns in Greece."

"We stayed in Emelisse with our little baby for a couple days and once again we had a wonderful time. Stuff is nice and helpful and we recommend spa treatments. We had a lovely welcome from
Jenny who planned our wedding in Emelisse last year. She arranged everything so nicely and we felt really looked after. Definitely staying here again when we are next in Kefalonia. "

"The 3rd visit to this hotel. Always a joy. Highlight is the hotel boat trip with Costa shuttle bus into town every evening fab breakfast/ great service. Only negative is having to reserve a bed by the main hotel pool early yoga class at 830 lovely gym small but ok. Stayed in 203 with a shred pool but as we were on the upper level rooms below seemed to take it over. "

"We absolutely loved this hotel and were very sad to leave after only 2 nights. Such a stunning place! The situation of the hotel is amazing; with the pool area overlooking the sea, the path down the rocks where you can jump in from the steps. They also have sun chairs there. It was lovely to walk down to the beautiful public beach as well, where you also can buy ice cream, drinks etc. To have Fiskardo so close by was very nice. The pizza night was very much appreciated; good food, beautiful setting! We would love to come back!"

"A very special place, the location and views are superb, brilliant sun rises and sunsets, exceptional service from ALL staff - nothing was too much trouble. The pool area was a splendid place to chill out and keep cool in the heat, with the excellent sea swimming area off the rocks just 2 minutes down the steps below the pool terrace - the water was so so inviting to plunge into. Just a 5 minute walk is Emblisi beach, a white pebble beach with beach bar and pristine sea once again - great for snorkelling. A shuttle bus takes you down to Fiskardo port for a multitude of bars and good restaurants - Elli’s was our favourite. Emelisse - would recommend highly."
